not sure how i feel about this news
mmmhop ipa by the hanson brothers???

on the one hand i love the idea that ipa will be brought to the attention and hopefully tastebuds of many who didn’t have the time of day for it before their idols made it cool
but, on the other hand i’m worried that it’ll be just a marketing gimmick and not a quality brew

i do want to try it though…
if only just to agree with this article from popwatch

when will it end?
when will stupid marketing folks finally wise up and stop being condescending?
well, okay, that will never happen
but hopefully they’ll figure out sooner rather than later that women already like beer
just the way it is
we don’t need special beers made for us
especially when they’re “light” or pink or otherwise ruined
you want more women to drink your beer?
change your current advertising practices away from misogynistic ones
have more food and beer pairing dinners and tastings
hire a female sales rep
yes folks, it really would be just that easy!
